Our product, the Amazonian Nut is known through the world in different languages having distinct names: :

- Castaña o Almendra Boliviana in Spanish (Coquitos-Spain).
Our product, known worldwide as Shelled Brazil Nut, is from Bolivian Amazonian Area. Bolivia (South America) is the first producer and exporter country of this kind of nuts in the world.
Brazil Nut (BERTHOLETIA EXCELSA its cientific name) is a seed of the Brazil Nut tree which is found throughout the Amazon in Brazil, Perú and Bolivia - South America. The Brazil Nut tree is enourmous, its height is approximately 40 to 50 meters and sometimes more.
The recolection of the Amazonian nut (Paranüsse – Castaña Boliviana) begins every year during November until March where the Bolivian companies start to gather the nuts throughtout the Amazonia, it is a very long stage. Once the Brazil Nuts (noix de Brési) are recolected, these are transported to the processing plants. The raw material begins a very strict procedure of selection, cracking, clasification and stew. Once the Shelled Brazil Nuts are classified, they are packed in plastic bags (aluminium color) which are also vacuum sealed immediately. Every company we work with, have strict attention to the hygiene of processing ambiences and to the careful handling of the product through all steps of the production chain.

Our product for the trade market is classified in different types:
- WHOLES :
- Large - 80/110 kernels per pound.
- Medium - 110/130 kernels per pound.
- Small - 130/160 kernels per pound.
- Midget - 160/180 kernels per pound.
- Tiny - 180/220 kernels per pound.
- Chipped.
- Broken
- Broken "A" / Broken "5" - Up to 3/4 of kernel.
- Broken "D" / Broken "6" - From half to 1/4 of kernel.
